This one started with no reference image — just an hour and a half in the studio with an audiobook and a trusted color palette. Jane Eyre played in the background while this cloudscape unfolded from imagination. It remains one of my favorites.
A cosmic cloudscape in deep blue, warm terracotta, and white — painted in calligraphy ink on 22” x 29” watercolor paper in 2018. The original is held in a private collection.
