"Art journaling is about having a visual conversation with yourself"
-Art Therapist & Author, Cathy Malchiodi
This weekend workshop combines writing exercises with instruction on mixed media and collage techniques that will reignite or jumpstart your visual journaling practice.
With two hours on Saturday and two hours on Sunday together on Zoom, we will ground ourselves in our intentions for this practice, embrace "mistakes," loosen up, and fill up the idea bucket with countless prompts you can explore deeper on your own after our sessions. I will also cover tips & tricks for satisfying compositions and help troubleshoot issues with materials and various mixed media processes.
